We are currently sitting at the end of the third era. The only bit of true, known history about the war between Autelion and Frosthelm is that it has continued for the past three hundred years. Of course, treaties and alliances were broken and mended more times than anyone truly cared to admit.
The wives tale of how Frosthelm’s civil war began was simple: the three founders of Frosthelm were: Allen, Sofia, and Garrett after the Dark Era in which the world turned dark thanks to a certain Magus Karesh Garro, the three set off to seek their fortune and begin the small town of New Haven. A dispute arose between McKenzie and the other two founders. The story varies from there, ranging between a lover’s dispute to a building one, but one thing's for certain: Garrett was banished and there, in spite and with a thirst for vengeance, he built the city of Frosthelm and waited for the day to attack Allen and Sofia. Distraught at losing their friend and ultimately not wanting to fight, they fled to create Aurelion.
Centuries later, their legacy continues and no outright chance for peace has been met.
Further West and across the sea, the grand Sultinate of Farqual rises from the dune with Sultan Abjeel Akar at its head.
To the South, Geoff Stone had bought lands from Aurelion and made himself a mining township known as Obsidian, he was made a lord and is an ally to Aurelion and her people.
The mysterious and beautiful Commodore Kressara leads the coastal town of Blackwall which is found at Frosthelm's northernmost point.
